FAQs on CBD

Let's talk about CBD!

What is CBD?

Think of CBD as a star player in the world of cannabis, but without the "high." It comes directly from the hemp plant, a close relative of marijuana, or can be made in a lab. It's the second-most-researched compound in cannabis, and we get it from the stems and leaves of the plant.

How is your CBD oil made?

We're all about quality, from farm to bottle. Our journey starts in Thailand, where we grow single-origin hemp in nutrient-rich soil. We use an eco-friendly CO2 extraction process to get pure, solvent-free CBD, which we then blend with medical-grade MCT oil for the best possible absorption.

Every batch is crafted in a GMP-certified facility and packaged in special UV-protected bottles. We also test each one rigorously for purity and potency. We're completely transparent, so you can check out the Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for yourself.

Is it vegan and gluten-free?

Yep, absolutely!

What should I look for when buying CBD oil?

You'll want to be a savvy shopper and look for a few key things:

Trust is Everything: Buy from a reputable, trustworthy company.

Proof in the Purity: Always check for a Certificate of Analysis (COA) to confirm what's in the bottle.

Know How to Use It: Look for clear consumption guidelines.

Freshness Matters: Check for manufacturing and expiry dates.

The Right Bottle: Make sure the bottle is UV-protected to keep the oil fresh.

Potency Counts: Check the CBD content (in milligrams).

Quality Ingredients: Look for a GMP-qualified supplier that uses organic hemp.

What makes a good CBD oil?

The more concentrated the oil, the more effective it tends to be. Look for a higher milligram (mg) of CBD for better results.

What about flavors?

Purserix has three flavors for our CBD Isolate oil: Natural, Orange and Peppermint.

Natural: No taste, just a hint of vanilla scent from the MCT oil.

Orange: A light, uplifting orange scent with no added sugar.

Peppermint: A cool, refreshing, and slightly sweet, with a natural menthol note that awakens the senses.

Is CBD oil legal?

Yes, in Thailand, CBD oil is legal as long as it's from industrial hemp and contains less than 0.02% THC. Many countries around the world have also legalized cannabis for medical use.

Do I need a prescription?

No, you don't need a prescription to buy our CBD oil.

How fast does it work?

Everyone's different! It depends on your dose and lifestyle. We recommend trying it consistently for at least 30 days to see how it works for you.

Will it get me "high"?

Nope! Our CBD oils are non-intoxicating and contain less than 0.2% THC, so you won't get that psychoactive effect.

Can I mix CBD with my medications?

We're still learning about how CBD interacts with other medications. It's always best to talk to your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you have.

Are there side effects?

Some people might experience a dry mouth, diarrhea, reduced appetite, drowsiness, or fatigue.

How should I use it?

The most effective method is to place the oil under your tongue for quick absorption. You can also mix it into drinks like coffee, tea, or smoothies, or even apply it to your skin for pain relief or relaxation.

How do I store it?

Keep your CBD oil in a cool, dark place, and it will last for at least a year. Make sure to close the bottle immediately after use, as it's sensitive to light and air. You'll want to use it at room temperature, as extreme cold can make it too thick.

Can pregnant women use CBD?

It's not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women to use CBD products.

Can I drive after taking CBD?

Yes, you can. Our products don't have any psychoactive ingredients. High-quality CBD with minimal THC is very unlikely to show up on a drug test. If you're using a higher dose, we suggest a THC-free isolate oil just to be safe.

What's the difference between CBD isolate and full-spectrum?

CBD Isolate is pure CBD, with no other cannabinoids or plant compounds.

Full-Spectrum CBD contains all the good stuff from the hemp plant—cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. This gives you the "entourage effect," where all the compounds work together to boost the overall benefits.

What's carrier oil?

A carrier oil is a base for the CBD oil, like MCT coconut oil. We use MCT oil because it helps your body absorb the CBD more efficiently and gives you a long-lasting source of energy. It even enhances CBD's anti-inflammatory properties!

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are fragrant compounds found in many plants. They give cannabis its unique aroma and also interact with your body's endocannabinoid system, contributing to the "entourage effect."

Does CBD Have FDA Approval?

Purserix products are FDA-registered and rigorously lab-tested to meet the highest safety and quality standards, ensuring every batch is pure, consistent, and trustworthy.
